Success story continues for TrustPort Antivirus

Trustport Antivirus, the compact security software for personal computers, scored an excellent result in the latest independent test, performed by AV-Comparatives. TrustPort Antivirus ranked among the top four products in terms of total detection of malicious codes. The test was done using samples of currently prevalent malware, collected within last eight months. As a result of the testing, TrustPort Antivirus received the highest award, AV-Comparatives Advanced+.

progeCAD 2010 Professional from CADDIT.net is now Windows7 compatible, reads & writes Autodesk AutoCAD 2010 DWG files, offers improved speed and reliability, now writes 3D Studio MAX .3ds files, and features updated interface palettes.

Although there are a zillion ways to download YouTube videos to your computer, YouTube has finally started rolling out a “click to download” button on some of its videos, with a wider rollout said to be on the way.

Could it really be true – an ISP in Australia offering broadband with no download caps? A new ISP called “myKP” says it will offer just that from January 26 but “initially” only on a limited basis in areas that can already access myKP’s Free Wi-Fi - although the service is expected to be offered to "everyone" in a "not too long" timeframe.

Here are your Windows 7 beta 1 activation keys

All weekend as Windows 7 keys were hard to come by, people tried accessing Microsoft’s TechNet site to access their unique activation keys. Originally with a 2.5m download limit, people expected keys to go fast, but with that limit removed, it appears that the TechNet issued keys are generic – and I’ve used one to activate Windows 7 beta 1, so I know it works!
