Telstra adds shopping channels to T-Box line up

Telstra will launch, next Sunday June 26, a range of Foxtel content to users of its T-Box connected to Telstra's cable broadband services, with the same offering to be available over Telstra ADSL a couple of months later, all quota free.

Foxtel coming to Telstra's T-Box

Telstra and Foxtel have signed an agreement under which 30 of Foxtel's "best" channels - including FOX8, Discovery, Fox Sports Play, Movie One and Showtime Premiere - will be available on the Telstra T-Box unmetered via either a BigPond ADSL or cable broadband service.

Telstra taps Ruckus to WiFi enable T-Box

US-based WiFi vendor, Ruckus Wireless - which recently opened an office in Australia - says it is providing Telstra with its 802.11n Smart Wi-Fi system for use with the Telstra T-Box set-top box that combines BigPond TV, movie downloads, HD free-to-air channels and a personal video recorder.
