All metadata is not personal, Federal Court rules

The Australian Federal Court has effectively ruled that part of the metadata of an individual stored by telecommunications companies does not constitute personal data and therefore need not be handed over to said individual.

ACCC wins appeal over Flight Centre price-fixing bid

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has won a High Court appeal over Flight Centre's bid to induce three international airlines to enter price-fixing arrangements between 2005 and 2009 over air fares offered online by the airlines that were cheaper than those offered by Flight Centre.

CHOICE backs ACCC over Meriton action
