New Zealand's competition regulator the Commerce Commission has warned businesses that agreements they reach with their competitors can result in imprisonment, as it undertakes its latest Scene of a Crime education campaign.

The French Competition Authority (L’Autorité de la concurrence) has fined Apple €1.1 billion (A$2.01 billion) for allegedly conspiring with wholesalers to fix the prices of items like the iPad in order to reduce or eliminate competition.

ACCC wins appeal over Flight Centre price-fixing bid

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has won a High Court appeal over Flight Centre's bid to induce three international airlines to enter price-fixing arrangements between 2005 and 2009 over air fares offered online by the airlines that were cheaper than those offered by Flight Centre.
