No surprise, internet use still on the rise

Aussies' love-affair with the internet is continuing, although businesses are still largely failing to capitalise according to figures released today.

Leighton subsidiary Visionstream has won a lucrative $334 million contract with NBN Co for fibre rollout in the Eastern states. With two optional one-year extensions, the two-year contract could be worth up to $1 billion, according to the firm.
