Optus extends support for eSIMs

Optus is now allowing customers to connect to its mobile network using an eSIM via an app on their phone, claiming it is the first mobile provider in Australia to allow it.

The number of cars with embedded connectivity will reach 200 million globally by 2025, rising from 110 million in 2020, with one of the main beneficiaries of the growth being mobile operators, according to new research.
