Vertel, a privately-owned telecommunications carrier, along with specialist fibre and network solutions provider Vocus, has provided Cherry Tree Wind Farm with telecommunications infrastructure to facilitate 24/7 monitoring of the site and reliable communications for the team operating the windfarm.

Vocus shareholders have voted in favour of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) and Aware Super’s acquisition of Vocus by scheme of arrangement. Both companies are looking forward to working with Vocus.

Telecommunications company Over the Wire joins Tier 1 voice providers such as Telstra, Optus, TPG, MyNetFone, and Vocus after it completed its Carrier Interconnect project, which it says is a milestone and has laid the foundation for a new phase of growth.
