Automated test equipment and virtual instrumentation software company NI and Seagate Technology have announced a new collaboration to enhance data storage and transfer services, including a “first-of-its-kind” advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) record offering.

Data storage infrastructure solutions vendor Seagate Technology has released its third-quarter results, for the period ending April 2nd 2021. This shows revenue of $US 2.73b, $US 912m returned to shareholders and an operating margin of 14.1%.

Data solutions and storage company Seagate has announced shipping three zettabytes of hard drive storage capacity, surpassing that milestone in March 2021.

Taiwanese network-attached storage (NAS) vendor, Synology, released its new Synology DS1621+ DiskStation desktop model late last year, along with a beta version of the DSM 7.0 software that drives it. Together, they make an unbeatable combination for your own file storage, blog hosting, virtual machine manager, Office 365 or GSuite backup, and whatever else you can throw at it.

Seagate has announced its participation in the consortium led by Bain Capital Private Equity to acquire Toshiba Memory Corporation, and commits "up to US $1.25 billion" and "expects to enter into a long-term NAND supply agreement".
