Seagate has released a pair of apps to simplify access to GoFlex Home storage units from iOS and Android devices.

Seagate has finally broken the 'areal density barrier' and has unveiled the world's first hard drive with 1TB on each platter and will have it on sale soon, in 'mid-2011'.

Although other hard drive manufacturers have units with 4K sector technology, none have Seagate's exclusive firmware that eliminates time-wasting software alignment, clocking in with the highest 'in-class' performance and faster spin speeds, SATA 6GB compatibility, excellent recyclability and low-power requirements. Looks like it is easy being green!

Seagate's GoFlex Home is specifically designed to meet household shared storage needs.

Seagate and Samsung are joining forces to develop enterprise-class SSD controllers.

The storage company's new line of GoFlex external hard drives feature interchangeable interface adapters that can turn a USB 2 model into a USB 3 model.
