Hosted and cloud-based Unified Communications solutions are slowly but surely replacing on-premise UC deployments as organisations reportedly improve their understanding of the benefits of a hosted UC model.

Unified communications software provider Mitel and enterprise communications supplier Aastra have announced plans to merge.

Mitel has joined the extensive list of PABX vendors that have certified the use of MyNetFone SIP trunking with their systems.
