The coronavirus pandemic has failed to halt the growth of the Apple juggernaut, with the company posting quarterly revenue of US$58.3 billion for its second quarter, an increase of 1% year-on-year. Earnings at US$11.25 billion were slightly down from US$11.56 billion posted in the corresponding 2019 quarter.

Like plenty of other people, I've held off buying an iMac until new models were announced, but I can't get excited by them.

Apple first to pass US$1 trillion market cap

Apple has become the first publicly listed American company to achieve a US$1 trillion value, with the firm achieving the milestone when its shares hit US$207.04 at about noon on Thursday.

Alert! Safari Trojan

A friend has had an annoying Safari browser based issue where clicking a link opens a separate ad tab.  This is a relatively new Trojan malware that cleverly obfuscates the most useful page on getting rid of it.
