The iPad 2 resolution kerfuffle

The question of whether the iPad 2 will feature a 1024x768 resolution screen as it does now, or will it a Retina-esque 2048x1536 res screen instead is consuming the blogosphere, with some believing you won't see the higher-res screen until the iPad 3!

When Steve Jobs announced the iPad, the word was that it would arrive in late March for the Wi-Fi version, and 30 days after that for one with inbuilt 3G, but while one analyst says the iPad will be delayed, a news report suggests that March 26 will be the day the iPad arrives in stores after all.

Yesterday the blogosphere and Twitterverse were buzzing with yet more rumours of the possible death of poorly Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Not surprisingly so, given that Wired.com appeared to be reporting that he had suffered a heart attack.
