Google Earth 6 - with added trees

The latest version of Google Earth integrates Street View and includes 3D species-specific models of trees. It also provides more convenient access to historical imagery.

Feds consider Google StreetView prosecution

Google Australia remains a prosecution target of federal investigators over its systematic and unauthorised collection of personal data through its fleet of Street View cars, with the Australian Federal Police currently assessing advice on possible breaches of Commonwealth criminal law.

Google Street View snowmobile shoots Whistler

First, it was Street View cars capturing panoramic views of our streets. Then the Street View trike arrived to gather images of pedestrian areas. Now Google's Street View has taken to the snow to produce panoramas of Whistler, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
