The 6502 chip was used in many seminal computers - the Atari 2600, Atari 8-bit family, Apple II family, Nintendo Entertainment System, Commodore 64, Atari Lynx, BBC Micro, Kim-1, AIM-65 and others, and it is still sold today to enthusiasts. It's the chip that is being celebrated this World Computer Day, 2022, and there's a special free virtual event + networking on 10 Feb in the US (7am to 9am 11 Feb AEDT) - full details below!

In just a few days time on February 15, it will be 75 years since the deployment of the first all-electronic, programmable computer at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, called ENIAC, which stands for an "Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer".
