In 2022, World Computer Day has honoured the 6502 processor, powering Apple 1 and II, Atari, Commodore 64, Nintendo Entertainment System, the BBC Micro and others, following on from last year's inaugural World Computer Day, of Feb 15, 2021, which to celebrate the ENIAC's 75th birthday as the world's first all-electronic programmable computer, and to honour and continue honouring ENIAC's game changing breakthroughs - and many more milestones to come in computing's past, present and future.

In just a few days time on February 15, it will be 75 years since the deployment of the first all-electronic, programmable computer at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, called ENIAC, which stands for an "Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer".
