TPG Telecom and Samsung complete 5G virtualised RAN trials with 26GHz mmWave
TPG Telecom and Samsung Electronics Australia have expanded their 5G mmWave technology collaboration to more trial sites after successfully completing the first 5G virtualised, radio access network (vRAN) trials with 26GHz mmWave in Australia.

AMTA welcomes Comms Minister Paul Fletcher's 5G in 2021 statement
As reported earlier by iTWire, Australia's Federal Communications Minister, Paul Fletcher, has said 2021 will be "the year of 5G" with the first allocation of mmWave 26Ghz 5G due in April to complement already available 5G services from Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.

Optus testing 5G mmWave technology with Ericsson, first call completed
