Cisco to Jabra as MD for Australia, NZ

Former Cisco senior manager David Piggott has joined audio solutions provider Jabra to take up the position of managing director for Australia and New Zealand.

A 20-year IT industry veteran, Piggott joins Jabra from his most recent position as Regional Manager – Service Provider Sales at Cisco. He also worked in executive global sales and channel roles at Avaya, Touchbase and Telstra.

At Avaya, Piggott was Global Account Director where he successfully delivered Unified Communications and contact centre technical and commercial solutions for key global accounts across Australia and New Zealand.

And, with Telstra, Piggot worked as a Contact Centre Sales Specialist with Telstra Enterprise Government, and in business development management roles at Touchbase in both Australia and the UK.  

“We’re very excited to welcome David to Jabra and believe that with his knowledge and skills with customers and channels, he will continue to drive success with our audio solutions,” said Mark Leigh, President APAC, Jabra.

“He has a proven track record in sales and business development within the IT, networking and customer contact industry, and will be a real asset to Jabra as we grow our business in Australia and New Zealand."
