Minggl claims 'redefining social networking'

As promised, Firefox 3.5 was released on June 30, bringing a healthy performance boost and new features to the widely used open-source browser.

Opera gained fame for being a featured web browser that consumed a minimum of memory. It fit on a floppy disk, and it ran on mobile devices. Trying to regain a place in the spotlight, Opera announced it would be re-inventing the web. Now that its secret is out I am underwhelmed.

Internet Explorer 8 could net you $10,000, but cost you your soul, judging by the feedback from certain sectors to Microsoft’s IE8-only competition. Microsoft has paid attention and now the "ten grand is buried here" competition no longer requires Internet Explorer be used.

AVG releases free link scanner download

AVG reckons on any given day around the world something like two million web pages are poisoned by hidden threats, and the security firm has just released a free link scanner download which it says will protect Internet users against these “random, invisible online threats”.
