GSA forms new 5G RedCap Special Interest Group

The Global mobile Suppliers Association (GSA) has established a new special interest group (SIG) for telcos wishing to track, boost and promote the ecosystem for 5G reduced capability device network deployments, connected IoT devices, FWA devices and service launches.

The Global mobile Suppliers Association confirms that LTE subscriptions now account for 32.4% of all mobile subscriptions globally.

1800MHz "a prime band for LTE worldwide"
