Broadband Forum finalises new 5G standards

Operators looking to leverage their fixed networks to deliver on the promise of 5G will soon have new tools at their disposal, according to the communications industry open standards development organisation Broadband Forum, which has just announced the finalisation of two new 5G standards.

The Broadband Forum says, “The next era of broadband relies on open source and standards joining forces – now is the time to move forward together."
