Nokia announces 3000-plus 5G patent declarations
Nokia has announced that it has declared more than 3,000 patent families to the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) as essential for the 5G standard.

Broadband Forum finalises new 5G standards
Operators looking to leverage their fixed networks to deliver on the promise of 5G will soon have new tools at their disposal, according to the communications industry open standards development organisation Broadband Forum, which has just announced the finalisation of two new 5G standards.
