Microsoft patches Office flaw used to spread spyware

Microsoft has issued a patch to fix a flaw in its Office suite that was being used to spread spyware known as FINSPY.

Microsoft has pre-announced nine security bulletins will be released this week, five of them rated critical and addressing vulnerabilities in a wide range of software. And Adobe will be releasing security updates on the same day.

This month Microsoft released six bulletins on Patch Tuesday, addressing a total of 11 vulnerabilities. Four of the bulletins are rated critical, so break out any remaining Easter eggs to cheer you up while you get patching.
