NZ’s Spark expands services for its TaaS portfolio

New Zealand’s largest telco Spark has added contact centre, unified communication, cloud security access brokerage and site connectivity to its Telecommunications as a Service (TaaS) portfolio.

New Zealand telco Spark is building a long-range network to enable the Internet of Things in New Zealand’s most populated urban centres, with the switching on of new sites in Christchurch, Wellington, Hamilton and Auckland in time for the New Year.

Court temporaily halts Vodafone NZ-Sky TV merger

New Zealand’s High Court has temporarily halted the proposed merger of Vodafone New Zealand and satellite pay TV operator Sky TV, ordering a short-term stay to the deal in the event the New Zealand Commerce Commission gives its clearance to the merger on Thursday morning.
