Progress 38 spaceship fails to dock with ISS

A Russian cargo vessel was unable to dock with the International Space Station on July 2, 2010, at approximately 1658 GMT. Russian controllers say the unmanned Progress 38 ship is 'under control.'

Five ISS countries want space ops through 2028

Russia delays first Chinese Mars mission to 2011

The Phobos-Grunt mission has been delayed by two years in order to provide better reliability to the mission. When launched, it will go to Mars and its moon Phobos. Part of the spacecraft will return samples back to Earth.

Space Station to become circus of the sun

Founder of Cirque du Soleil (French for "Circus of the Sun"), Guy Labiberté, was blasted into space onboard a Russian Soyuz spacecraft on September 30, 2009. The Canadian space tourist will promote water awareness during his stay at the International Space Station.
