CA adds network management to Chorus

Mainframe management product CA Chorus now offers network and system management features. The company also announced other updates to its mainframe management tools.

Terminal emulation is a technology that just won't die: it'll be around as long as there are devices and programs that expect to talk to a terminal. So it isn't surprising that Micro Focus is still developing its Rumba line of terminal emulation software.

IBM's zEC12 is the latest generation of the mainframe family that has been at the heart of enterprise computing for almost half a century.
