Indian telecoms giant Airtel has deployed equipment vendor Nokia’s Packet Core appliance-based and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions to deliver new services to its 4G/5G customer base.

Is the business case for 5G FWA looking good?  With mmWave 5G reaching 10km, and improving costs driven by Open RAN, is it becoming more viable?  In Australia, where the alternative is a marginal business selling nbn broadband access perhaps it is.
