PLDT says by leveraging advanced spectrum technologies, long-range FWA can serve as a cost-effective alternative to fibre deployment, for businesses in areas where traditional broadband infrastructure is limited.
“At PLDT Enterprise, we recognise that reliable connectivity is a critical enabler of economic growth,” said John Gonzales, First Vice President and Head of Enterprise Consulting Services and Technology Management at PLDT Enterprise.
"Through long-range fixed wireless access, we can ensure that no business—regardless of location—is left behind in the digital transformation journey."

According to PLDT, long-range FWA is more affordable than fibre, while providing fibre-like speeds necessary for high-bandwidth applications such as cloud computing, and is easily deployable in areas with geographic limitations.
"Technology should be accessible to all, and long-range fixed wireless access reinforces our perpetual mission of ensuring that businesses, wherever they may be, have the tools they need to succeed in the digital economy," said PLDT's Gonzales.
Long-range FWA will complement PLDT Enterprise's existing portfolio of fixed, wireless, and ICT solutions, aligning with its broader strategy to enable the digital transformation of businesses, the telco said.
"Through these innovations, PLDT Enterprise continues to pioneer solutions that matter, empowering businesses with the tools to drive progress, enhance efficiency, and unlock new opportunities in the digital age," PLDT said.
