F-Secure's antivirus has been given the highest Advanced+ score in the 'On Demand Detection of Malicious Software' test conducted by the independent testing organisation AV-Comparatives in February 2010. This is the sixth consecutive Advanced+ award for F-Secure Anti-Virus since August 2009 in AV Comparative's tests on the world's leading antivirus products.

Men losing the plot with mobile phones

F-Secure today revealed the findings of its F-Secure 2010 Australian Mobile Security Survey. Quizzing more than 1,000 Australians, F-Secure found that a third (32%) of respondents had lost a phone or had one stolen. Men appeared more careless than women, with 39% experiencing loss, versus just 26% of women.

F-Secure is launching its first products for the Android platform. F-Secure Anti-Theft for Mobile enables easy remote locking and wiping of confidential data if a smartphone is lost or stolen. Browsing Protection, a feature of F-Secure Mobile Security, identifies which websites are safe to enter and which should be avoided.
