Total global revenue for the broadband access equipment market declined to US$4.7 billion 2Q23, down by 3% year-over-year. Outside of North America, spending on PON equipment and fixed wireless CPE continued to remain strong this quarter but not enough to offset declines in both cable and DSL CPE purchases, according to market research firm Dell’Oro Group.
