Executive recognised for ability to scale sales and expand partner ecosystems

Access4, a SaaS provider of world-class Cloud based UC, CX and UX solutions, has announced that Matt Milne has been appointed in the new newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer.

Based in Sydney, Milne will be responsible for leading and providing strategic direction for Access4’s go-to-market function, which includes channel sales, pre-sales, new business development, marketing and enterprise bids and tenders.  At the same time, he will work with channel partners to deliver upon the company’s value proposition and to harness long term partnerships.

Milne’s appointment comes six months after Access4 acquired Channel UC, where Milne was previously Co-Owner and Director.  He has more than 15 years of sales leadership and strategic expertise and was pivotal in the launch of Channel UC as a separate, independent business when its former parent company, Mia Distribution, was acquired by Bluechip Infotech in 2022.  Milne subsequently expanded Channel UC’s sales capacity with a focus on product optimisation, resulting in enhanced sales productivity and strong alignment across all customer-facing teams.

In recent months, Access4 has seamlessly integrated Channel UC’s omni-channel contact centre solutions into its SASBOSS® cloud platform. This integration provides a scalable and automated approach to communication with comprehensive solutions across Unified Communications, Customer Experience, and User Experience. Furthermore, Access4 has combined this with a vendor-led professional services offering to enhance their partners' ability to deploy more complex cloud communication solutions.

Tim Jackson, CEO, Access4, said, “We are very excited to appoint Matt Milne as Chief Revenue Officer. His experience accelerating growth and leading volume transaction sales teams make him a perfect fit for Access4. Matt’s appointment is expected to accelerate this momentum, bringing his deep expertise in enterprise technology partnerships and industry-specific solutions to drive immediate impact.  His appointment is part of our long-term strategy to build out a leadership team that represents not only the best talent in the industry, but also the team we believe can take the company to the next level, including international expansion which is on the horizon.”

Access4 now has combined transacting reseller base of just under 600 partners with over 350,000 services on the SASBOSS platform and will soon launch the Access4 Academy to upskill partner learning with self-service access to content available on demand.  The company is also about to set out on its annual six-city roadshow across Australia and New Zealand to provide partners with education and insight into new product additions.

“Over the past few months, I’ve seen firsthand how compelling the Access4 offering is, and it’s an exciting time to take on the Chief Revenue Officer appointment at this pivotal moment in our horizon for growth,” said Matt Milne.  “Since acquiring Channel UC, Access4 has strengthened its position in the market and I’m confident our partner-first, product-led SaaS offering has substantial runway for growth and is poised for incredible success both locally and abroad.”
