PCRange launches VOIP service

Australian broadband company and technology convergence product distributor, PCRange has launched a new VOIP phone service that offers untimed calls to more than 50 international call destinations under a pay-as-you-go $5 monthly plan.


The new SIP Talk service can be used for 10 cents for untimed calls to anywhere in Australia, a 20-cent flat rate to 50-plus countries, 16 cent-a-minute calls to Australian mobiles and 10-cent Web SMS messages. With the VOIP service, mobile call rates are billed by the second rather than by the minute.

With untimed call coverage including countries such as India, China, Hong Kong, Brazil, the UK and the USA, PCRange CEO, Raaj Menon, said SIP Talk offered two simple plans - pay-as-you-go or a $5 monthly plan.

According to Menon, SIP Talk was created to make a VoIP telephone service that was simple to use and affordable for everyone. 'That's the reason we only offer two SIP Talk plans.'

Menon said that, as well as no flag fees, contractual commitments or hidden fees, SIP Talk also provided prepaid customers with a free direct in-dial number on the monthly plan, and all customers get access to a 'real-time call history and free technical support if they need it.'
