Rockstar Games has revealed the release date and system hardware minimum requirements to run one of the most salivated-for games for PC owners around the world; Grand Theft Auto V  

The R-Rated GTA V has recently been re-released for the next-gen PS4 and Xbox One consoles and has been taken down from shelves at Target and Kmart following a Change.org petition which claims the game is violent against women, but is this the case and will Big W and others fold next? Local video game retailer EB Games has been forced to apologise after one of its stores served free cocaine-esque substances to people who pre-ordered GTA V.

Rockstar is investigating a "shipping error" which saw Grand Theft Auto V leaked online almost a week ahead of its release date.

While fellow over-the-top action game, Saints Row IV, struggles to get an Australian release, the much anticipated Grand Theft Auto V has sailed through the classification board process.

Here are some new screen shots for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V.  It looks wonderful, but do Australians need to be concerned?  Despite the R18+ rating we now have, games such as Saints Row IV are struggling to get classified. Surely the franchise that pretty much kicked off the rating debate might be on shaky Australian soil.
