Android has a huge security hole

It appears that Android stores SSIDs and WPA encryption keys on Google's servers and links them to users' Google accounts.  So much for "don't be evil!" [Updated]

WEP was cracked and rendered effectively pointless within a few years of its introduction.  High hopes were held for WPA, but those hopes are now well-and-truly dashed.

WiFi password cracking with ATI and NVIDIA

WiFi encryption has just got even less secure now that the Russians reckon you can crack WPA and WPA2 passwords with both ATI and NVIDIA graphics cards.

An online report from “Sony Insider” quotes an unnamed Sony insider saying an OLED based thin touch screen Walkman will debut at CES 2009 in Las Vegas with up to 32GB of memory, but if it’s only a player and not a handheld computer like the iPod Touch, will anyone buy it?

WPA is Broken. Be Afraid, be Very Afraid

Researchers claim to have cracked the Wireless Protection Access (WPA) standard.  Their results are due to be announced at the upcoming PacSec conference on November 12th and 13th in Tokyo, Japan.  The paper has also been submitted to WiSec 2009 Zurich.
