Tomizone deploying Wi-Fi at Christchurch Airport

Listed Australian Wi-Fi software company Tomizone has sealed a contract with Christchurch International Airport to provide Wi-Fi capabilities to the airport’s entire international and domestic terminals, including its new theatre and event space.

Sydney ferries offer free WiFi, via Tomizone

The NSW Government has extended a WiFi service launched last June on Manly Ferries - and provided using New Zealand company Tomizone - to most of the ferries in its fleet.

US based Boingo Wireless - which provides wireless Internet access around the globe through arrangements with local WiFi hotspot operators - has added the 16,000 Tomizone hotspots in Australia, China, India, New Zealand and several Pacific Islands, to its global network.

New Zealand based Tomizone has struck deals with two of China's largest carriers to enable it to offer pay-as-you-go access to a network of 2000 WiFi hotspots in China, expected to grow to 10,000 by the end of 2009.
