NASA gets a step closer to some direction

The Commerce Committee of the U.S. Senate has unanimously approved a $19 billion bill that basically agrees with the earlier White House plan for private space vehicles, a continuation of the International Space Station, and more shuttle flights. A few different directions have been agreed upon, though.

NASA Constellation program goes down

The Obama Administration has announced its 2011 NASA Budget. NASA calls the news its "Bold New Approach to Exploration" as the new, yet-to-be manned Constellation program is already DOA (Dead BefOre Arrival).

Moon gets museum but probably not NASA astronauts

According to California, it has designated numerous objects left on the Moon in the 1960s and 70s as a state historical resource. Since it looks like U.S. astronauts won't be going to the Moon any time in the near future, articles left on the Moon will at least be protected from commercialism.
