Is the Myki card even remotely legal?

This is pure speculation, but on the face of it, the Myki card appears to be equivalent to any bank-issued debit or credit card.  If that's true, the Myki card system may-well be in contravention of the banking laws of Australia.

Myki: Rolling Stock or Laughing Stock?

Victorian Transport Minister Lynn Kosky continues to support the totally unsupportable.  In total fear of electoral defeat, she pushes the wondrous Myki upon the public as if it would be the saviour of both Public Transport AND the state Labor Party.  Particularly the latter.

The Very Un-fare Myki

Myki's lateness now has the official stamp of approval.  Victorian State Public Transport Minster Lynne Kosky has finally stated the bleeding obvious – that it's late, will cost a lot more and that they're worried it might cost them the next election.
