CBA core revamp strips 30% costs

The Commonwealth Bank's $1.1 billion core banking modernisation programme is stripping 30% of infrastructure operating costs out of the bank, and is a key weapon in the bank's stated intent to achieve a much improved cost to income ratio of 35%. It is also delivering retail customers with real time banking, with plans to roll that out for business customers later this year.

There's a lot of talk over which tablets will be best suited for business, but laughably, most of those discussed simply aren't available for consumers or businesses to buy, leaving just two real contenders until the iTablet-clones truly finally arrive: Apple's iPad and existing Slate and Tablet PCs running Windows.
