Promising a "perfect balance of wireless freedom and effortless simplicity" at a price that won't break the bank, Skullcandy's Jib True earbuds are seeking the hearts, minds, wallets and ears of consumers.
Skullcandy bills itself as "the original lifestyle audio brand", and notes that "now more than ever, people are looking for simple, feature-rich earbuds for use at home or on the go AND that won’t break the bank."
Naturally, Skullcandy says this makes "Jib True the new essential earbud for all your listening needs", and touts their ease of use and quality sound performance, thus "making it possible for anyone to get into true wireless."

Now, I haven't tried Jib True, so I've looked online for reviews, with GearBrain giving them four stars, and MajorHiFi calling them "pretty nifty", with real reviews from Amazon customers giving them 4.4 stars out of five.
Of course, not every review is positive, and you should check out the links above for the pros and cons listed, and obviously you will get even better sound quality from much more expensive brands like Jabra, Apple's own AirPods (which I use, having personally purchased the original AirPods, the second-gen AirPods and AirPods Pro, which I originally returned and then repurchased once third-party memory foam tips became available that don't hurt my ears), Samsung's Galaxy Buds and others, but those ear buds are much more expensive – and at the price, people seem to be very happy.
Skullcandy also has a wide range of other headphones, including more expensive earbud style models – Jib True just happens to be the newest model at its keenest price.
Skullcandy says Jib True "offers a total of 22 hours of battery life with 6 hours in the bud and an additional 16 hours in the case, and comes loaded with all must-have audio features and controls such as call, track and volume control, activate assistant, dual mics, solo bud use and more. With an IPX4 rating, Jib True is sweat and water resistant and has a comfortable, noise isolating fit that ensures an amazing Skullcandy audio experience."
Jessica Klodnicki, chief marketing officer of Skullcandy, said: “We’re so excited to be bringing this incredible update to our Jib franchise.
"For those looking to try out true wireless earbuds for the first time and at an affordable price, Jib True is it. We’ve packed it with all the essential, must-have features, and we can’t wait for people to start listening without anything holding them back!”
Skullcandy adds: "With Bluetooth capabilities and a wide range of useful features such as the ability to use either bud solo, dual microphones for calls, auto on and easy connectivity, Jib True allows users to truly experience freedom without wires. True Wireless has been made simple with these new earbuds that will allow you to get your day going without skipping a beat."
Jib True comes in two colours - "92 Blue" and "True Black", at $79.95, and not only are they available at SkullCandy's Australian website, but also at JB Hi-Fi, although they're so new, I don't see them at JB HiFi's site yet, although I'm sure this will be rectified soon.
Skullcandy also has more expensive wireless earbud headphones, and other wired and wireless headphones on offer, which you can see at the Skullcandy site and at JB Hi-Fi here.
