COMPANY NEWS: MSI caught everyone off guard when it announced a partnership with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport at Computex 2023. As part of this announcement, a Limited Edition, cross-promoted laptop was unveiled and is detailed below. The full launch event, including a tour of the event space, can be seen in the following video.

First on stage was MSI’s ‘Alex’ who introduced everyone to the show. This included an introduction to Jeans Huang – MSI’s co-founder – who was making a rare appearance.

This was followed by speeches from MSI’s notebook GM, Eric Kuo, and Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Head, Christoph Sagemüller, who then both combined to formally launch the partnership.

The New laptop was presented and talked about by MSI’s Notebook Division National Manager, Steven Yang before a catwalk-style fashion segment showed off the new laptop to the audience.

The main event concluded when Ophelia Yang, MSI’s SVP of Product Marketing, talked through the highlights of MSI’s 2023 range of laptops.
