Software AG bolsters APJ management team

Digital business company Software AG has bolstered its Asia Pacific management team with the appointment of Mike Saxton as senior vice-president.

Saxton assumes responsibility for managing the company's operations in a bid to build stronger customer relations and boost business in the region.

The company said Saxton's appointment was taking place at a time when digitalisation was transforming the business and technology landscape in the region at a rapid pace and was in line with Software AG’s expertise and technological offerings such as its Digital Business Platform to support businesses with this objective.

"The Asia Pacific & Japan market is a key focus for Software AG and with Mike’s appointment we are reinforcing our commitment to the businesses in this region. Mike's global expertise and industry knowledge positions him well to lead this market," said Mike Slater, chief operating officer, APJ & Northern EMEA.

Saxton, who joined Software AG in 2012, has more than 26 years of experience in the ICT industry.

Before working for Software AG, Saxton held key leadership roles across Europe and the United Kingdom with global technology companies such as TIBCO, HP and Neon.
