In his new role, Nelson Soon will oversee Proofpoint’s channel and alliance operations across APJ theatre for the company, underscoring Proofpoint’s commitment to its channel business and investment in the growth of its partner ecosystem in the region.

Based out of the Singapore office, Nelson Soon brings a wealth of experience working in IT and cybersecurity. Before joining Proofpoint, he held various senior channel leadership positions at Imperva, now acquired by Thales, as well as at Gigamon, Extreme Networks, Ixia and Agilent Technologies.
