A standout achievement for the year was the successful installation of the Nextivity Quatra 4000e, approved for use in Australia in December 2023. This hybrid Distributed Antenna System (DAS) is designed for small-to-medium buildings, providing cost-effective, high-quality mobile signal distribution. PMT Communications implemented this solution for a major healthcare provider in Victoria, marking a significant milestone in expanding its footprint within the healthcare sector.

Strengthening Wireless Infrastructure

Another highlight was PMT’s work with Cambium PTP solutions, which enable point-to-point wireless communication. In a project for an industrial client, PMT Communications delivered seamless network connectivity between two buildings separated by 800 meters. Completed ahead of schedule, the project underscored the team's technical expertise and commitment to exceeding client expectations.

Expertise in DAS Systems

The company also enhanced its reputation as a leader in DAS installations, covering both passive (coaxial cable) and active (electronic remotes) systems. These installations are critical for ensuring robust mobile signal distribution in large facilities. A major accomplishment was securing and executing a Passive Carrier DAS project for a prominent healthcare development in Queensland, further establishing PMT Communications as a trusted partner for complex infrastructure solutions.
