Boost Mobile. It's the world’s largest youth-focused telco brand, and based on research conducted by IPSOS whose results were based on the responses from 3,973 consumers collected across March 2021, it has some new awards to add to its burgeoning trophy cabinet.
In each area, IPSOS asked people to nominate the companies they use, and then to rank them out of 10 in a range of factors including overall customer satisfaction, whether they would recommend them to others, service and depending on the industry they were also asked to rate things like product range, delivery service, friendliness and trust.
Boost Mobile competed against 47 other providers to be recognised by its consumers as ‘Most Recommended’, also delivering the biggest year-on-year increase in the category among the top 13 surveyed brands. It is a category which importantly highlights those companies that consumers would actively promote to family and friends based on their own experiences with a company.

Network reliability - which is an incredibly important factor in today's digitally-centric connected reality - was also recognised with Boost Mobile again both winning and leading in biggest year-on-year improvement against its 2020 data.
This continues to be a crucial area of assessment in Australia given the geographic spread of consumers in both metro and regional areas across the country, and most especially at a time when more people are working remotely than ever before.
Indeed, as Boost Mobile notes, it "continues to challenge the status quo in the local telco industry, providing a compelling option for customers looking to access to the full 4G Telstra Mobile Retail Network - Australia’s biggest mobile network."
It is coverage access that no other MVNO is able to offer, all while providing attractive value offerings including loads of data, no lock-in contracts and great value including on Boost Mobile’s latest plans. It's also important to note that Boost isn't offering access to Telstra's 5G network as yet, but with 4G still very fast, and ever more people moving to 5G, which lowers pressure on the 4G network, Telstra's 4G network is better than ever.
Boost Mobile reports also expanding its product line-up, delivering refurbished smartphones at a fraction of the price of brand-new options, and extending this most recently to include iPads and Apple Watches, which iTWire reported previously here.
“At Boost Mobile, we work hard to deliver great value products. To be recognised with these two Mozo People’s Choice Awards really validates how good our offers and service are for Australian consumers.” said Jason Haynes, the GM of Boost Mobile.
“Acknowledgement from your own customers is the most valuable recognition possible so these awards are particularly meaningful to everyone at Boost Mobile. Especially when you look at the hugely competitive nature of our industry and how passionate many consumers are about their network coverage and value in mobile phone plans,” he added.
“It highlights our belief that Aussies want a fair deal, a trusted brand and access to the biggest and best mobile network. We are not slowing down and will continue to fight for the best deals with more data, more coverage, more choice – and much more to come.”
"Winning a Most Recommended award in the Mozo People's Choice Awards is a signpost that customers are deeply satisfied with the value and quality of household services," said Peter Marshall, Mozo Expert Judge.
"A win in this category shows Boost Mobile customers are more than happy with their mobile plans – and they're sharing the good news! Boost's second award win for Network Reliability is a cherry on top when it comes to how customers rate the surety of their mobile connection."
Boost Mobile also notes that it is "working to give the data hungry what they need to keep in touch, all 28 day expiry Boost Mobile Prepaid plans currently offer a bonus 20GB for the first 3 recharges for new and migrating customers.
"When customers recharge before the 5th of July on any $30 - $70 Boost Anytime Plus plan, an extra 20GB will be automatically added onto the existing data allowance giving them a whopping upgrade on data. Even the long-expiry $200 Prepaid SIM can currently be purchased with a bonus 120GB if recharged before the 5th of July."
