Chinese smartphone vendor vivo is offering up to $30 in savings on the purchase of some of its Y series models from Tuesday to 30 November in a Black Friday promotion.

Also jumping in on the Black Friday promotion is online car retailer CARS24 which began its sale on Monday; it will continue till 30 November.

A statement from vivo Australia said both the Y52 5G and the Y21 were on sale, with the latter being sold at a $20 discount.

vivo Australia PR and communications manager Laura Hayward said of the Y52 5G: "It doesn’t matter if you're streaming, gaming or watching the latest film – Y52 5G will keep up.

"Photography enthusiasts will experience the world through a new lens with the 48MP AI triple camera, equipped with ultra stable video recording all powered by a 5000mAh battery."

The offers are available in-store and online at JB Hi-Fi, Big W, Australia Post, Officeworks, Harvey Norman, Mobileciti, Amazon and The Good Guys.

Among the top vehicles on sale at CARS24 are:

  • Mercedes Benz GLA-Class 2017 & 2018 (up to $5000 off);
  • Kia Sorento 2015 & 2016 (up to $3900 off);
  • Mazda CX5 2019-2021 (up to $3400 off);
  • Volkswagen Golf 2014 (up to $1600 off);
  • Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2014 (up to $1400 off); and
  • Toyota RAV4 2014 (up to $1300 off).
