Copado capital raising adds $26 million to coffers

US-based DevOps for Salesforce provider Copado has raised US$26 million in a Series B round of funding led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investor Salesforce Ventures and new partners Lead Edge Capital, Perpetual Investors and ISAI Cap Venture - the joint investment fund for Capgemini and ISAI.

The US$26 million financing brings the total funds raised by Copado to US$47 million.

Copado says it continues on an “exponential growth trajectory” and in the last year, has more than doubled its revenue, tripled its headcount, expanded operations globally, and launched programs expected to train more than 10,000 Copado certified DevOps professionals in 2020.

“The impact of COVID-19, distributed virtual workforces and an unpredictable economy are forcing companies to adopt DevOps platforms to digitally transform their businesses,” Copado said.

“These seismic events have redefined executive expectations on the speed, quality and visibility their technology investments must deliver to enable rapid business pivots and effectively disrupt markets.”
