Data#3 kicking goals with Sydney Football Stadium networking solution deployment Featured

By

Technology services and solutions provider Data#3 has scored a win with a contract to deliver a modern networking solution for the new Sydney Football Stadium.

The NSW Government is redeveloping the stadium into an iconic, world-class venue to ensure Sydney has a sporting and entertainment precinct of an international standard and that NSW remains the “number one choice for sporting and entertainment events”.

Deployment of the Data#3 solution is part of an overall $828 million-dollar project to create the state-of-the-art stadium, with Data#3 selected for its “proven expertise” in designing and delivering the robust networking solutions needed to provide services to 42,500 fans leveraging Cisco technology.

Data#3 general manager for NSW and ACT, Paul Crouch, commented, “The team is excited to be involved in such an important project. We know it’s an incredible responsibility to enable such services, but we know we’ve got the expertise to deliver a superior solution.

“We look forward to delivering a world-class stadium. We can't wait to see the results of our hard work as memorable sporting events are brought to life in Sydney.”

“Technology has never been more critical for success. Our vision is to harness the power of people and technology for a better future and this project is a great example of our vision in action,” said Data#3 Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Laurence Baynham.

“Our digital solution will ensure that advanced game-day experiences will be provided to patrons attending the Sydney Football Stadium.”

Data#3 says bringing together consulting, technical expertise, industry partnerships, and Cisco’s “market-leading technology”, it is equipped to help customers achieve their business objectives.
