When a journalist attends a company's conference launching new products, there's almost always a major announcement session with impressive videos and launch details - somethign you can see here for Day 1's printer launch, and which you can see here for Day 2's laptop and smartphone launch, but there's also usually a series of showcases to further demonstrate the new technologies on offer. 

This is usually followed by a interview session, sometimes one-on-one, other times in a small group setting for journalists from a particular region. 

Well, HP's event was no different in this regard, with the two major launch sessions above, with full video recordings of each as well as interviews for you to see above. 

What I have below are the individual showcases packed with interesting information, as well as journalist questions and answers. 

Video 2 and 4 - the ink chemistry and the PageWide sessions - are in particular must-watch sessions for those interested in printers and ink - but they are all here for your information, as well as the video interview at the end of the day.

1. HP’s Seamless Mobile Printing Showcase

HP shows off its ultra mobile printing solutions at its Commercial Printer Launch. One is a mobile printer that is due soon, while another is a mobile multi-function printer that can scan and copy as well as print, with a 10-page auto sheet feeder due later this year.

HP demonstrates the chemistry behind its inks, and shows not only the different types of ink its various printers use, but explains why genuine inks perform to much higher specifications and quality levels than 3rd party inks. A must see demo!

3. HP's Choice Reinvented showcase, Officejet, Jetintelligence demos

HP demonstrates its newly redesigned OfficeJet printers and shows how its JetIntelligence system works.

4. HP showcases its new PageWide technology - see the printhead, print speed and more!

Another must-see demo of HP’s newest ‘PageWide’ technology, where the print head no longer moves from side to side as it is as wide as the page itself, enabling print speeds of up to 75 pages per minute - more than one page per second!

5. HP Printing 2016 - group interview with Tian-Chong Ng and Enrique Lores

HP's executives answer more media questions at the end of HP's day of printing launches - its new PageWide, OfficeJet and LaserJet printers. Hear all the questions from the media and the answers given.
