Dawson takes charge of Render's finances

By

Construction technology provider Render has appointed Joshua Dawson as its vice president of finance.

"Josh joins as we continue to invest significantly in our people and platform in support of our customers, and at a time when demand for their services and connectivity, in general, is pronounced," said Render CEO Sam Pratt.

"Josh's understanding of the infrastructure space and experience in high-growth technology environments are a welcome addition at a pivotal time for Render and the industry."

Dawson joins Render from registered training organisation alffie where he served as commercial director and CFO.

He previously worked at Sumo (as CFO), Engie (group financial controller) and AGL (a variety of roles, culminating in that of business services manager).

Dawson started his finance career at Qantas.

He holds bachelors degrees in commerce and economics from the University of Queensland, and a diploma of project management from the University of New England.

"The company is now introducing a robust finance function and capability - I look forward to the challenge of leading and growing this vital aspect of the business as Render continues to scale," said Dawson.
