Cloud communication and collaboration provider 8x8 has made multiple appointments to its sales, technical support and marketing teams in Australia.

"These talented leaders will help us drive our next phase of growth by providing further support to our customers and partners in achieving their goals and accelerating their pace of business," said Asia Pacific vice-president Brendan Maree.

"We also look forward to reinforcing our positive momentum in the market for our range of cloud communications and customer engagement solutions among both public and private sector organisations."

Adam Kratiuk has joined 8x8 as an account executive. His 13 years' experience in customer experience solutions includes working as mid-market sales manager at Genesys, mid-market territory manager at Interactive Intelligence (where Maree was formerly vice-president for Japan, Australia and New Zealand), and in channel management roles at Distribution Central and IPL Communications.

Eric Anderson has also joined the company as an account executive. Anderson too has 13 years' experience, gained as an enterprise account executive at NewVoiceMedia, commercial account executive at Salesforce, and in sales executive roles at PeopleCube, Manhattan Software and Asure Software.

Timothy Knox is 8x8's new APAC enterprise sales engineer. He has 12 years' experience in cloud contact centre and analytics, most recently as lead solutions engineer at NewVoiceMedia. Knox has also held consulting engineering roles with Walkerscott, Arrow Voice & Data, and Citidel Telephone Systems, and he started his career as a systems engineer at VoIP.

Chris Pikios has been appointed as a deployment engineer.His 10 years' experience in the IT industry includes working as a technical support specialist at QPC, a telecommunications technician at TKO Solutions, and in engineering support roles with Reliance Communications, Infiniti Telecommunications and Allstar Solutions.

Pablo Munoz has joined 8x8 as ANZ field communications executive. He most recently worked as a digital producer at Ondicom, and has also served as marketing manager at IPL Group and as a marketing executive with Ingram Micro.
