Nokia's WinPhone to arrive in March

Nokia's first Windows Phone smartphone, the Lumia 800, is scheduled to go on sale in Australia in March. The three carriers and all major retailers will be offering the Nokia Lumia 800.

While Apple continues with record sales of iPhone and iPad products worldwide, it may lose the smartphone market leadership to Samsung in the second half of 2011 because of the Korean giant's versatility, according to a new analyst research report. The news comes amid a boom in mobile data traffic growth forcing operators to upgrade their networks, including a proliferation of 4G LTE buildouts.

Microsoft's Mango will be gradually in season

Microsoft announced today that it had started to roll out its Windows Phone 7.5 update, also known as Mango; however only a minority of users will be able to upgrade their phones as of today, while other customers will be reached within the next four weeks.
